Coeur d'Alene



Coeur d'Alene is a city in Kootenai County on the Coeur d'Alene Lake. Coeur d'Alene, honored as an "All-America City", is surrounded by the forested slopes of the foothills to the Rockies. It enjoys a four-season climate with cool evenings. Average temperature is about 69 degrees F in May while it reaches to nearly 79 degrees F in June.
Performing and visual arts form an integral part of the city’s culture. Operas, chorales, symphonies, jazz and big bands bring the sounds of classic and new music. Each year thousands of visitors arrive in the city to watch the annual events like the Art Walk, Art from the Heart, concerts in the City Park, Julyamsh Powwow, and Art on the Green.
