Pocatello, the county seat of Bannock County is located in southeast Idaho at 4,448 feet in the western foothills of the Rocky Mountains along the Oregon Trail. It is located at the intersection of two interstate highways, I-15 and I-86 at 42° 54" N and 112° 30" W. It enjoys a typical four-season climate with clear, sunny weather all round the year. Average daily temperature in winter months is 35.4 degrees F end enjoys an annual precipitation of less than 15 inches. Some of major attractions include the Sun Valley, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, the Sawtooth National recreation Area, Island Park and Salt Lake City.
